Humane Education

Humane education is education that nurtures compassion and respect for living beings. In addition to focusing on the humane treatment of animals, humane education encourages cognitive, affective, and behavioral growth through personal development of critical thinking, problem solving, perspective-taking, and empathy as it relates to people, animals, the planet, and the intersections among them. Keeping animals safe and loved is the number one priority for any animal lover. As their owners, we are also their protectors and guardians. There are many dangers and things to be aware of that one might not normally think about, but aside from that there are ways to make sure our pets are happy and fulfilled.
